Relief for Dehydration, Nausea, and Vomiting
If you’re struggling with persistent nausea, vomiting, or dehydration during pregnancy, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to manage it on your own. At Paradise Valley OBGYN, part of Women’s Health Arizona, we now offer in-office IV hydration therapy to help you feel better, faster.
What Is IV Hydration Therapy?
IV hydration therapy delivers fluids directly into your bloodstream through a small IV. This allows your body to rehydrate quickly and efficiently, especially when it’s difficult to keep fluids down.
When appropriate, your provider may also administer medication to help reduce nausea and vomiting, helping you get the relief you need.
Who Can Benefit from IV Hydration?
IV hydration may be recommended if you are experiencing:
- Moderate to severe dehydration
- Persistent nausea and vomiting
- Difficulty keeping fluids down
- Symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum
Your provider will determine if this treatment is appropriate based on your symptoms, medical history, and overall health.

Your comfort and safety are our priority. Here’s what you can expect:

Is IV Hydration Safe During Pregnancy?
Yes—when administered under medical supervision, IV hydration is a safe and effective treatment for dehydration and pregnancy-related nausea.
However, not all patients are candidates for in-office treatment. Your provider will carefully evaluate your condition to determine the safest and most appropriate care plan.
