About Nicole Gonzales, CNM

Nicole is passionate about midwifery and the support it provides to her patients. For her pregnant patients, Nicole’s desire is to empower and support their birth plans, all while honoring the process of physiologic birth. Nicole strives to help women feel confident in the knowledge of their bodies, and in their awareness of any normal or abnormal changes that may occur. Nicoles loves her two earthside babies, Ezra and Lucy, and her one heaven-side baby, Hope, lost to miscarriage. Pregnancy and infant loss are close to Nicole’s heart and her hope is to support women who experience them in any way she is able.

As a nurse, Nicole worked mostly in pediatrics and spent five years practicing at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Nicole has always had a deep desire to be a midwife, and was able to study at Frontier Nursing University where she completed her Master’s degree in Nursing Midwifery. Nicole has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona.

During her studies, Nicole was honored to spend time training at a birth center and has been able to incorporate those skills and knowledge into the hospital practice.

In her free time, Nicole is active in her Christian faith, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
