About Kari Herrington, WHNP

Kari has been a dedicated healthcare professional since earning her Registered Nurse (RN) credentials in 1993. She worked in Labor and Delivery for six years before transitioning to her role as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in 2003.

Kari is deeply committed to empowering her patients through education and providing compassionate, individualized care. She specializes in making women’s wellness exams as comfortable and pain-free as possible while emphasizing the importance of preventative care. Kari has a particular passion for prenatal education, guiding expectant mothers through the changes that occur during pregnancy. She also offers expertise in contraceptive counseling, as well as sexually transmitted disease (STD) education and testing.

Prior to relocating to Prescott in 2015, Kari served as a Sexual Assault Forensic Nurse Examiner for 16 years in California, where she provided essential care and advocacy for patients during critical moments.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and caring for their beloved fur babies. Her adult children frequently visit Arizona, where they share quality time engaging in outdoor activities. Passionate about animal welfare, Kari actively supports local rescue organizations, providing medical care and fostering neonate kittens, puppies, and senior animals in need.

Kari’s dedication to both her patients and her community exemplifies her compassionate approach to healthcare and her unwavering commitment to making a difference.
