About Amanda Ramirez, MSN, CNM, RNC

Amanda is committed to caring for women throughout their lifespan, and believes birth is both a profound and transformative experience. Her connection to birth is not only professional, but it is deeply personal. Amanda first became familiar with the magic of birth when she had her son at just 18 years old; it transformed her. She found her passion and has dedicated her career to empowering women through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.

Amanda’s journey in Labor and Delivery began in 2002 after she received her associates degree from Phoenix College. In 2011, she continued her education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She developed a strong clinical foundation, grounded in evidence-based practice and patient centered care. Driven by her passion for maternal health while being part of women’s birth experiences, she was called to further her education. Amanda completed her master’s in nursing science and earned her midwifery degree in 2017 from Frontier Nursing University. There she deepened her expertise in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. Her focus is supporting women through informed choice, advocacy, and compassionate guidance.

Amanda is an internationally board-certified lactation consultant. She enjoys helping mothers with breastfeeding difficulties in the hospital and during the postpartum period.

She enjoys listening to audio books or sitting on the beach in Peñasco with her loved ones. It would be an honor to accompany you on your journey. Amanda looks forward to meeting you soon!

Amanda is also fluent in English and Spanish.
