About Alissa Floman, MD, FACOG

Dr. Floman specializes in high-risk obstetrics and comprehensive gynecology from adolescence to menopause. Born in Denver, Colorado, she moved to Arizona as a teen and graduated from Gilbert High School. She attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate and the University of Arizona for medical school. She knew from the first day of her OB rotation that this was to be her path. She completed residency at the University of Oklahoma and returned to Arizona ten years ago to care for women in the place she calls home. Dr. Floman strongly believes in a collaborative care model and is passionate about establishing long-term relationships with her patients. Her greatest desire is to shift the paradigm towards individualized and informed care that empowers women and respects their autonomy.
