The cost for your visit will be determined based on the specifics of the care and services provided to you. Your insurance carrier may pay for all or part of the care provided; however, you are primarily responsible for payment on all the services you receive.

If you have insurance, please bring a copy of your insurance card to each visit. We will submit the claim to the insurance company on your behalf, but please be prepared to pay your co-pay and any deductible on the day of your visit. After we receive payment from your insurance carrier, any additional amount determined by your insurance company to be your responsibility will be billed to you.

Our practice also accepts patients without insurance. Our billing office will contact you prior to your visit to provide you with an estimate of the cost for the visit and our payment policy.

If you believe that you are pregnant, we invite you to call us to schedule a confirmatory OB appointment. During your visit, your provider will confirm your pregnancy and review your medical history. They’ll also collect blood and urine samples and perform a pap smear if it’s time for one.

We want you to receive the care that’s right for you during your pregnancy, so we offer two options:

Traditional Care: The traditional care option consists of individual appointments with an obstetrical provider of your choice, such as:

• Nurse practitioner
• Physician assistant
• Certified nurse midwife
• Physician

You’ll return for visits every two weeks until the last month of your pregnancy, at which point we’ll schedule visits with you weekly.

Group Care: After your confirmatory OB and dating ultrasound visits, you may opt for our group care program called “Best EXPECTations ^SM.” This multi-faceted group support model provides expecting parents with an opportunity to meet with others with a similar due date. Participants enjoy group discussions, education, and support.

As part of the Best EXPECTations ^SM program, you’ll spend more time with your health care provider and with other pregnant women. This gives you a chance to learn a lot more about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
