Dr. Kelsey Madsen believes that exceptional medicine requires a balance of technical precision and genuine human connection. Her unique path to healthcare began at James Madison University, where she studied dance. This early foundation in the discipline of movement and the “art of the body” naturally evolved into a distinguished medical career, leading her to VCOM at Virginia Tech for medical school and later to Cincinnati, Ohio, for her clinical training.
Today, Dr. Madsen translates that lifelong focus and dexterity into the operating room, where she specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery. She is equally passionate about the complexities of high-risk obstetrics, partnering with women to navigate their most challenging and sacred health journeys with evidence-based care and steady, compassionate guidance.
Her commitment to service extends across the globe through her participation in missionary medicine. Dr. Madsen has served on several mission trips to Africa and Central America, providing primary care and performing life-altering gynecological operations for women who otherwise lack access to specialized care. These experiences have deeply influenced her practice, reinforcing her belief that every patient deserves high-level surgical expertise delivered with a servant’s heart.
Now a proud member of the West Valley community, Dr. Madsen understands the beautiful, busy reality of family life as a mother to several young children. She is an avid traveler and an enthusiast of the Arizona outdoors, finding joy in hiking and practicing yoga. To maintain her creative balance, she remains deeply connected to the arts through painting, music, and a love of reading.
