Sara Bahena is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in pediatrics and neonatal intensive care as a Registered Nurse, and more than 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Sara is also an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Sara’s educational journey reflects her dedication to holistic, evidence-based care. She began with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics in 2008, followed by an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Arizona State University in 2022. Her strong foundation in both nutrition and medicine informs her whole-person approach in treating her patients.
Sara is deeply passionate about caring for mothers and babies as a connected unit—healing both body and mind with a holistic approach. She integrates wellness, nutrition, and preventative care into her practice, empowering families through education and support.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, Sara is a mother of three and thrives on staying active. She enjoys hiking, running, weightlifting, yoga, boxing, and all things wellness-related, embodying the lifestyle she encourages in her patients and their families.
