About Juliet Garbow, NNP
Juliet’s journey into neonatal nursing began in a most personal way, with the premature birth of her first child. Standing hour by hour staring into the incubator as dedicated doctors and nurses faithfully watched over her care day and night was one of the most frightening experiences of their lives. However, God used that experience to lead her into a field, a calling, that she could never have imagined to be so purposeful and fulfilling. Juliet has been privileged to walk alongside other families during some of the most uncertain and vulnerable moments of their lives.
Juliet earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and later completed her Master of Science and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner degree at State University of New York, Stony Brook.
Over more than 35 years in neonatal care, she has had the experiences of serving in many different roles, including neonatal nurse, neonatal ground and air transport nurse, developmental care coordinator, and neonatal educator.
Throughout her career, one thing has remained at the center of her work: to provide evidence-based excellent care for both the babies and their parents.
Juliet is grateful for the path God placed before her. What began as one of the most difficult experiences of her life became a lifelong opportunity to care for babies and families in a special way. She still feels honored to be part of sharing this journey with them.
