About Kendell Lincoln, CNM
I’m Kendell Lincoln and I am a Certified Nurse Midwife. I was honored to receive my Masters of Science in Nursing degree and midwifery education from Yale University.
I came to midwifery after studying Public Health for my undergraduate degree. I learned that many fields use maternal and infant health as the best way to assess the overall wellbeing of a population and I knew then that women’s and maternity care was my purpose. I wanted to be part of communities that keep women healthy to have healthy births and raise healthy families. Being a part of Estrella Midwifery is my longest dream fulfilled!
Perhaps my greatest learning in life has come from experiences in Denmark and Uganda studying under midwives who trust physiologic birth; the ways they use personal, traditional, and modern knowledge in birth has defined my career as a midwife. I believe in practicing evidence based, high-touch care across the reproductive lifespan. At the core of my practice is trust in you as a woman to know your body; I believe my role is to empower you with knowledge and tools to make decisions that are best for you and your family.
When I am not working, I love to travel, drink tea, host family, read books, and most importantly spend time with my partner and puppy here in Goodyear.
