Arizona Wellness Center for Women
A family of providers for all the stages of your life.
About Arizona Wellness Center for Women
At Arizona Wellness Center for Women, you’re not just a patient. You’re a part of our family. We provide service on a more personal level, even offering same-day appointments for sick patients. Here, compassionate care is integrated with state-of-the-art, research-based medicine. In fact, many of our in-office procedures and surgeries can be covered under our clinical research grants, providing cost-free care to those with financial concerns. We also minimize the discomfort of in-office procedures by offering conscious sedation by an anesthesiologist. Your comfort is always our top priority, no matter what you’re visiting for.
Insurance Information
The cost for your visit will be determined based on the specifics of the care and services provided to you. Your insurance carrier may pay for all or part of the care provided; however, you are primarily responsible for payment on all the services you receive.
If you have insurance, please bring a copy of your insurance card to each visit. We will submit the claim to the insurance company on your behalf, but please be prepared to pay your co-pay and any deductible on the day of your visit. After we receive payment from your insurance carrier, any additional amount determined by your insurance company to be your responsibility will be billed to you.
Our practice also accepts patients without insurance. Our billing office will contact you prior to your visit to provide you an estimate of the cost for the visit and our payment policy.
Our billing department is available during normal business hours to answer any questions. Please call (602) 992-3162 and choose option 3.

Your Visit
As we all begin to think about re-emerging more fully into our lives, we want to express our gratitude to all our patients for their patience and loyalty during the COVID-19 crisis. Throughout this life-altering experience, we have seen so many examples of humanity, grace, and community. With this in mind, we find the energy to move forward to create our new normal for ObGyn care—together.
Having you feel safe is our first order of business—and we know it’s yours too. You can expect that, if you visit in person, our offices will be clean, our staff and patients will be wearing protective equipment, and we will have the processes in place to ensure proper social distancing while you wait. In addition, we will continue to provide and recommend telemedicine visits for any that can effectively be handled in that way.
As always, we are devoted to helping each patient stay on track with their healthcare. To accommodate this, we will be opening our schedules by possibly offering special hours to ensure that we attend to every patient who needs us. If, during the isolation period, you missed an appointment with us, you will likely receive a call from your physician’s office, or you may call us to reschedule.
Collectively, you are the reason we became women’s healthcare providers and why we seek to provide the high standard of care that Women’s Health Arizona is known for. We have missed you and we look forward to seeing you all soon. Please be patient as we try to maneuver through this new normal to accommodate your needs.
Warm wishes for your continued health,
Michael Urig, MD
President
