About Teresa Socio, MSN, NNP-BC
Teresa is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience caring for premature and critically ill infants. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based care while supporting and guiding families through the NICU journey.
Nursing is Teresa’s second career. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arizona State University, she felt called to healthcare and pursued her Diploma in Nursing at the Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, Texas. She later earned a BSN from Jacksonville University in 2015 and an MSN from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019.
Teresa has spent her career in Level III NICUs, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide highly specialized neonatal care. She is also a certified NRP instructor and enjoys mentoring new neonatal nurse practitioners as they grow into confident providers.
Her clinical interests include neonatal resuscitation, developmental care, and building strong, collaborative care teams. She values open communication, teamwork, and kindness in every aspect of her practice.
Outside of work, Teresa is a proud mother of two young adult children. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is excited to bring her expertise to this neonatal group and help foster a culture of respect, growth, and excellence in care.
