About Susan Wood, NNP, DNP
Susan Wood is a seasoned Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and NICU nurse, practicing since 1984. She currently serves as the Regional Advanced Practice Provider Director. A leader in neonatal education, she founded the Heartbeat to Home monthly educational series in 2020, which has since grown to have an international reach, supporting ongoing professional development for neonatal care providers around the world. She also serves as an Affiliate Faculty for Regis University, Denver, Colorado.
Susan is experienced with team building, recruitment, coaching, and supporting new graduate neonatal practitioners.
