About Candice Candelaria, MS, RD
Candice Candelaria, MS, RD, is a food and nutrition expert who translates the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthier living. As a registered dietitian nutritionist, Candice has extensive training in metabolism, medical nutrition therapy, and Integrative and Functional Medicine. She has been in clinical practice for more than seven years, holding positions at the University of Arizona Integrative Health Center, Southwest Human Development (Arizona’s largest non-profit early childhood development organization, which includes Head Start), Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and at her own private practice.
Candice works one-on-one with patients to uncover the root causes of their conditions, and designs individualized nutrition plans that will bring their bodies back into balance. She also helps people who are generally healthy, but want to fine-tune their diets, further improve their health, or boost their athletic ability. Her skills are useful for patients who are working to optimize their health before pregnancy, help PCOS, avoid the use of medications in pre-diabetes, elevated cholesterol conditions, or just want to learn how to be healthier.
